Possessing Numerous Peaks deals with the relationship between man and nature: the aim is to provide an interactive installation between and among World Expo visitors, the man-made, and nature's landscape formations. This sculptural installation relies on the memory of nature and visitors are invited to sit silently in its site-specific setting, in unspoken dialogue with the World Expo environment. Its circumstances can be changed by the interaction with visitors because it slowly gains recognition as a public rest area, easily attracting passers-by to come closer, just like a small garden where visitors may enjoy themselves. It may also be regarded as a landmark on the Expo Boulevard, a place to meet for guests of the World Expo.
